Atlanta Technical College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate degrees, diplomas and technical certificates of credit. It is also accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education. The college is located in Atlanta and offers a wide range of courses for the students that include business and marketing management, culinary arts and hospitality management, computer courses, construction programs, secretarial, health and human services, horticulture and floral design, clothing and textile arts, home furnishings, personal development and legal and technical courses. Atlanta Technical College also provides special courses, such as basic photography, acting, introduction to computers for senior citizens, SAT preparation for mathematics, sign language, introduction to travel and tourism, small business management and armed guard training.
