This educational institution offers programs and age-appropriate curriculum during the summer as well as during the regular school year. Bala Cynwyd School for Young Children offers three classroom buildings, three playgrounds, a fully-equipped gym and kitchen, a computer lab, and an in-ground swimming pool. Students are divided by age into classes; there are five classes in the infant/toddler building and there are three classes for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Preschool children. This school is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) in addition to being licensed by the Pennsylvania State Department of Education and the Department of Public Welfare. In addition, they encourage strong communication between the school and the child's family/parents.
