Basic Beginnings, established in 1983, is a childcare facility in Laramie, Wyo. Funded by the Wyoming Department of Education, the center has 7,800-square-feet of classroom space for preschool and school-age programs, 780-square-feet of open indoor space with large motor toys for exercise, electronically monitored fire alarm system, 8,500-square-feet of fenced outdoor play space and three separate playgrounds. Open seven days a week, it offers a variety of programs including infant care program, toddler care program, preschool program, school-age care and Summer Programs and employs certified teachers in early childhood education and elementary education. Basic Beginnings full-day educational childcare includes preschool activities in the morning, after-lunch rest time, afternoon activities, snacks, music, art, indoor and outdoor play.
