Operational since 1993, Healthcare Midwest functions as a provider of health care services to the communities of Southwest Michigan. Located in Kalamazoo, Mich., it is a multi-disciplinary physician group. The center specializes in neck surgery, gastroenterology, internal medicine, neurology, lifetime wellness and ophthalmology, to name a few. It operates an Association of Academic Health Centers (AAHC) Certified Ambulatory Surgery Center that provides services to over 4,000 patients annually as well as a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certified medical laboratory.
