The Eton Academy, located next to St. Columban Church on Melton Road, is a nationally awarded school designed to educate students with reading, attention and other learning challenges. The school includes students from first grade through 12th grade, and features a research-based curriculum as well as specialized support. All Eton teachers are trained in Dr. Mel Levine's schools attunded neurodevelopmental approach to instruction, with the academic curriclum based in personalized instruction, a focus on literarcy and student development, and social and emotional support. Teachers and classrooms are eqipped with the latest technology to help students learn, includng SmartBoards and Phonic Ear. Students also take classes in physical education, music and art, and can also participate in athletics. The school is tuition-based, and students must go through a formal application process for admission.
