The Maimonides Medical Center is one of the leading providers of graduate medical education (GME) in the New York City region. With more than 20 fully accredited residency and fellowship programs, over 400 residents, nearly 4,500 employees and approximately 700 inpatient beds, it is one of the largest, independent academic medical centers in the United States. The center provides courses in the areas of anesthesiology, cardiology, dentistry, emergency medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry and interventional cardiology.
