Mitchell Technical Institute has been providing various technical career course programs since 1968. It is located in Mitchell, S.D., and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It offers various associate in applied sciences degree and technical diploma programs. It provides its programs for more than 800 students. The institute s programs include agriculture technology and agriculture chemical technology programs, farm business management, business accounting and computers technology programs, medical health assistant, medical laboratory technology, medical secretary and transcriptionist, radiologic technology and culinary arts and food services programs. In addition, it offers architectural draft and building construction, communications systems engineering technologies, electrical construction and maintenance, computer software technology, heating and cooling technology, power line construction and maintenance, propane and natural gas technologies, satellite communications, supervisory control and data acquisition and utilities technology programs.
