Founded in 1961, Montessori Academy of Glen Ellynis the oldest Montessori school in DuPage County. The school offersclasses and tutoring for young children, from toddlers to sixth graders, under the guidance, warmth and infectious enthusiasm of Director Annie Carlson. One of the highlights of this academy is the 1.5-acre yard and school garden, which provides students an opportunity to learn gardening and cooking, as they make dishes such as summer squash muffins and cold gazpacho soup.
