Morsey is a general and mechanical contractor that focuses primarily on providing new construction and maintenance work for industrial markets. Its services include steel erection, equipment rigging and setting, boiler and pressure vessel installation and repair, concrete form and placement, general construction, environmental clean-up, commercial plumbing and equipment alignment and leveling. The company began operation in 1946 as a plumbing contractor for residential and light commercial clients. In 1976, it was sold to Harper Construction and is now a subsidiary of Harper Industries. In 1985, Morsey established a field office in Calvert City Ky., and in 1992 moved its entire operation from Paducah, Ky., to Calvert City. The company is a member of the Associated General Contractors of America, Western Kentucky Construction Association and the National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee.
