Established in 1980, Potomac Center is an independent, nonprofit, private organization that provides services for disabled individuals. It provides nursing, personal care, and educational and behavior support services.Potomac Center also provides classes in community, life and domestic skills. The organization s recreational activities include sporting events, shopping, skiing, skating and bowling. It has a gymnasium, activities room and a playground. Additionally, it offers educational placement, crisis respite care and residential assistance and support.
