The Prout School is a college preparatory, coeducational, Catholic high school that serves more than 600 students in grades nine through 12. It offers a range of honors, international baccalaureate and advance placement courses. The school s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as religious study, art, English, foreign languages, mathematics, science, social studies and physical education. Its media center has a large collection of educational resources. The school s visual and performing arts department provides instruction in theater, music, dance and visual arts. It also presents several events each academic year, including plays, musical performances, workshops, art exhibitions, and dance and music concerts. The school s campus is located on more than 25-acres of land in Wakefield, R.I.
