Lascassas Elementary School is a part of Rutherford County Schools and provides a variety of educational and extracurricular activities to students in grades kindergarten through eight. The school offers programs in art, English, science, music, and physical and special education. It provides a wide range of extracurricular programs, including beta club, band, chorus, peer helpers, special Olympics and yearbook. Lascassas Elementary School offers a range of athletic programs, such as basketball, baseball, softball and cheerleading. The school additionally provides various after school tutoring programs. It has a guidance department offering assistance to parents, students and teachers. The school was established in 1933 and is located in Lascassas, Tenn.
