Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport received its name after a unanimous vote in March of 2012. Previously known as, Little Rock National Airport, LIT is located in mere miles from central Little Rock and is the state of Arkansas’s largest commercial airport. At its inception the airport was called Adams Field, after Caption George Geyer Adams, who was killed in the line of duty.
