St. Josephs Villa is a nationally accredited, nonprofit childrens mental health agency based in Rochester, N.Y. The center specializes in helping at-risk youth overcome serious emotional and behavioral challenges, and build lifelong strengths through a network of programs and services. It offers a coordinated circle of residential treatment, education and preventive services, group homes, independent living facilities, and chemical dependency recovery and youth development programs. The agency provides services to more than 1,200 young people and families from western and central New York state annually. Its residential treatment program provides therapy, education, recreation and family support services to youth who have serious mental health and behavioral problems. St. Josephs Villa also offers its expertise through an adolescent eating disorders residential program that provides a safe and nurturing living environment for 12- to 18-years olds throughout New York state, who suffer from eating disorders. The agency s residential treatment facility offers treatment for boys aged 13- to 21-years, diagnosed with severe emotional disturbances.
