Jonathan Collin, MD, practices integrative, alternative, and preventive medicine at his private practice, providing comprehensive services at two convenient locations in Port Townsend and Kirkland, Washington. He believes in integrating conventional medical treatment with alternative therapies so that each patient can receive truly individualized care and optimal health. Patients who schedule a consultation with Dr. Collin are pleasantly surprised at the time devoted to listening to their concerns. Dr. Collin encourages patients to share their opinions as he works with them to find simple, less toxic, and highly effective treatment options. Dr. Collin graduated from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, and then completed his internal medicine training at the United States Public Health Service Hospital in Staten Island, New York, and at the national leprosy hospital in Carville, Louisiana. He went on to finish postgraduate studies in nutrition and preventive medicine, ultimately completing a diplomate examination in chelation therapy with the American Board of Chelation Therapy. He served as an Alternative Medicine Advisory Panel member from 1991 to 1992. In 1996, the American College for Advancement in Medicine named Dr. Collin a Fellow for his outstanding contributions to the field.
