The Bickford family began their journey into senior living in 1991 for their beloved mother, Mary Bickford, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and whose needs became too great for them to manage. As they researched senior living options, they were shocked at what they found. The options offered too much or too little – none met her needs and nothing felt like home. Since they couldn’t find what they wanted, they decided to create what she needed. What has sprung from Mary’s life continues to grow, but at the end of day all that matters to them is the happiness of the sweet little lady in apartment 406, because nearly 30 years ago that “someone” was their Mary Bickford.

Assisted Living Memory Care Independent Living Veterans BenefitsThe dictionary defines lifestyle as "A way of life that reflects the attitudes and values of an individual or group." At Fountain View, we take this definition to heart. We believe that a campus of senior living should allow a lifestyle that will not only provide each resident with choice, but also the ability to have a unique identity. Therefore, we promote life-enriching events through the leadership of our Lifestyle Activity Coordinator. Lifestyle Activities at Fountain View are developed according to the choices and capabilities of each resident. This allows us to create activities for the individual and overlay these within our existing resident activities. We do have many group activities, but we also engage in many one-on-one activities with the residents on a routine basis. Life at Fountain View isnt about resident participation in our activities -rather, it is about our staff empowering and leading activities based upon our residents interests. The activities listed on our calendars will be the activities requested and enjoyed by our residents! Fountain View Lifestyle Activities - A Reflection of Resident Choice!
