Columbus Symphony provides opportunities for the artists of Ohio to showcase their music and dance talents. It performs an array of more than 100 classical pops. The orchestra showcases family and educational themed concerts that reach over 400,000 people through live performances and radio broadcasts. Columbus Symphony also organizes various Young People s concerts every year. In addition, it hosts a music competition for students from grade 3 through 12 annually. The orchestra has several volunteer support groups that contribute in concerts, educational programs and community outreach activities that serve nearly 50,000 children and adults each year.
