Joseph Matucci Tailors is a family-owned business that has been in operation since 1895 and at this location for more than 30 years. Fine alterations, tuxedo and suit sales and rentals, reweaving and bridal tailoring are just some of the services offered at this store, which is housed in a corner building at the intersection of South Pacific Coast Highway and Ruby Street. The stained hardwood interior has a classic old-world feel, with suits and shirts lining the walls. The waiting area is very comfortable, with high-backed chairs and an air purifier. Custom-made suits and shirts for men and dresses and blouses for women are also available, along with belts, shoes and other accessories. He also has an extensive running background. Hes a Boston Marathon and two-time Ironman finisher. Co-owner Joan Vaux is also a Professional Shoe Fitter providing excellent customer service in meeting your footwear needs.
