Our officers are radio dispatched by the local monitoring station and have an intimate knowledge of the local area. All Harp Security Officers are State certified and trained following the curriculum set by the Arkansas Board of Private Security and investigations. When an alarm is set off our officers respond to your location to assess the situation and if necessary can contact the proper authorities. This service saves our clients charges from the city or county in the event of false alarms.

Doug Harp was appointed by the Governor to the first Arkansas Alarm Licensing Board. He later served on the Board of Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies. After Doug’s service of 6 years on the board, Gary Harp, Doug's brother and business partner of Harp Security was later appointed to the same board.
