Our founder, Shane Griffin, had been vacationing on Kauai every year for 20 years, and every time he went there, he was sure to go on some sort of boat tour along the Na Pali Coast. It was his favorite thing to do! He loved the feeling of being on the open water with beautiful beaches, mountains, and valleys in front of him. He later joined his family on Oahu and discovered the unspoiled beauty of the Makua Coast and Kaena Point. It is unbelievable to be able to experience that raw, unspoiled beauty of the outer islands, while still in the comfort and convenience of Oahu. Bus tours that "circle" the island will actually skip the West Coast all together, because the road does not go around Kaena Point.
