The Beginning TSL Adventures was established in 2008 by College of Saint Rose alumni and full-time elementary school teachers. Their primary mission was to bring a team of passionate individuals together to host professional and exciting recreational programs rooted in the philosophies of cooperation and interactive play.Ultimately, and with the continued growth of their exclusive niche programs, redefining child care year-round soon became the groups mission. The hallmark of their year-round program is a 10-week summer camp that is meticulously planned. Surely there is no other camp that involves the level of planning, training and collaboration as a TSL summer camp. The Mission Evolves: In their efforts to secure a foundation upon which to maximize growth in the Capital Region, their provision of quality child care services continued with the establishment of full-time day care for infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers in Guilderland. Looking Ahead: The Mission Continues Today, children up to age 15 benefit from exceptional child care, the provision of which is -- and always will be -- one of the chief goals of the TSL team.

St. Matthew Lutheran School offers a spiritual and learning experience for your Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K child while providing the capital district area a qualified day care facility close to downtown Albany. We provide care for children between the ages of 18 months through 12 years. Our Program includes a number of exciting options for Parents. Toddler Program: This is a year of many first experiences for your child. Perhaps it is the first time your child has left your watchful care for more than a very short period of time. Maybe it is the first time he has not been with just family members. Maybe this is the first time she has been in the company of more than one or two other children at a time. St. Matthew Lutheran School is fortunate to have long term staff. Many of our teachers have been here for over 5 years. They are God loving individuals who love our children. The caring atmosphere is evident as you walk through our building. Open communication is very important to the emotional and physical health of our children. Our teachers satisfy all the requirements of the New York State Department for Non-Public Schools, and the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. Please drop by to meet the staff.
