Tucson Medical Center is a 24-hour-a-day facility that provides health care services to residents of Southern Arizona. It has more than 600 beds and serves more than 30,000 inpatients and 120,000 outpatients each year. The center also offers the region s only children s emergency center. It is situated on a 30-acre campus that is also home to the Tucson Orthopaedic Institute, Cancer Care Center of Southern Arizona and the Children s Clinics for Rehabilitative Services. Tucson Medical Center has earned numerous awards from the National Research Council and has been named to Modern Healthcare Magazine s list of the United States 100 top hospitals.
