The Bedford Parks & Recreation Department is a local government office responsible for providing the community with recreational programs and activities for youths and adults. Located in the North Hampton complex of town offices between the safety building and the library, #237 is the old stone building that houses the town clerk, tax collector and motor vehicle registration.
Other offices including welfare, planning and zoning, recreation and finance are located at the back of the safety building.

USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service administers programs to help people conserve, improve and sustain natural resources and the environment. It works cooperatively with soil conservationists, technicians, soil scientists, agronomists, engineers, economists, biologists, foresters and other experts to help landowners and land users with conservation.
The Exeter Parks & Recreation Office, a department of municipal town government, offers a variety of programs and activities for all residents throughout the year. The department is in a building originally constructed in 1845. The building offers three meeting rooms that can be rented for use.

Purpose is "to provide emergency financial assistance and appropriate referrals to Salem residents who are poor and unable according to the State law and according to Town of Salem Welfare Guidelines in a professional and dignifying manner."
The Salem School Department includes offices for SAU 57 and its superintendent, assistant superintendent, business administrator, director of student services, director of maintenance, director of human resources and director of literacy and instructional assessment.
