The Orange County Islamic Foundation includes the Mission Viejo Masjid, spread over two levels of the Park Madero Building. On the first floor there is a bookstore, men's prayer hall, vending machines, bathrooms, a multipurpose hall and a kitchen facility. The second floor holds the women's prayer hall and children facility, along with additional bathrooms. In the entrance you'll find a list of the daily prayer times and event schedules. A number of social, religious and educational services are offered by the foundation. The Al Ridah Academy, adjacent to the structure, is the accredited pre- and elementary Islamic school.

St Kilian's Catholic church is very involved in the Mission Viejo community. The church partners with the local Catholic schools in the city, has a youth ministry, and supports the Orange County Catholic Foundation. St. Kilian's also has adult programs and ministries. The church holds three masses a week, one of which is a youth mass.

The Mission Viejo Country Club was established in 1967 in a beautiful valley surrounded by green hills. Since its initial construction, it has undergone multiple renovations. The most recent was a $19 million endeavor that restored the club to its proper grandeur.

Shepherd of the Hills is a United Methodist Church. Their core values are basd on building Christian communities. Craig Brown is the lead pastor here with several associate pastors who help to deliver the word of Christ to this mega congregation. Foreign educational excursions to historic sacred grounds are just the types of serious dedication to teaching upheld at Shepherd of the Hills. Not to mention, there are over ten different worship and study groups including one called the Stephen Ministry.

It is designed to intervene in the lives of members who are in times of struggle while maintaining full confidentiality with those in care. Shepherd's preschool program is also highly regarded and is very affordable.
