The Bowie United Methodist Church is located in Old Bowie on 6th Street. It has Sunday School for all ages before the weekly Sunday service. Led by Pastor David Graves, the church also has many active groups, and has activities which are posted on the calendar on their website. Pastor Graves recently visited Haiti with members of his and other nearby congregations to assist in the construction of a hospital, and has visited the site several times.
Foxhill Park sits on 45-acres of land just off of Collington Road next to Benjamin Tasker Middle School. Less than half a mile from Route 50, the park boasts a variety of facilities for many different activities.
