Franconia Volunteer Fire Department is located on Beulah Street, just off of Franconia Road. The station is manned by professional and volunteer firefighters who devote long hours to making sure emergencies are responded to as quickly as possible.
The station also hosts Bingo Night on Wednesday and Saturday evenings.
Proudly known as "The Pride of the Highway," Station No. 11, tucked just off Richmond Highway, has four trucks—an engine, a heavy rescue, a ladder and a brush—and two ambulances. The Pride of the Highway is one of only four stations in the county equipped to respond to hazardous material incidents.
