Environmental Health is a division of the government of Maricopa County in Arizona. The division reviews and approves construction plans for food production facilities, including restaurants, grocery stores, hotels, boarding homes and school cafeterias. It inspects food establishments, public accommodations and pet shops, as well as public and semipublic swimming pools. Environmental Health also issues operating permits.
