The Duluth Public Safety Center, located on the corner of Buford Highway and Davenport Road, houses the Duluth Police Department and the Municipal Court for traffic cases. Duluth's PD works diligently to provide a safe environment for citizens under the guidance of police chief Randy Belcher. The department operates a Community Oriented Policing Program (COPS) and Drive Smart, a teen driving education program.
Located in the Chester County Justice Center, the Chester County Court Reporters is responsible for providing a word for word account of municipal and common pleas court proceedings. It is also responsible for maintaining all exhibits admitted into those proceedings, and it must provide a record of those proceedings upon request. William Handy is the chief court reporter.
The District Attorney of Waukesha County presides over matters of prosecution in the county and stands as the Chief Law Enforcement Officer for Waukesha County. The standing D.A. is Brad Schimel, whose office is further staffed by 15 additional attorneys and more than 25 staff members.
The Justice Court deals with various matters of the law within town boundaries. These range from criminal laws, to small claims civil laws, to traffic tickets and local laws. Traffic violations can be paid by mail, while people who contest their tickets are scheduled to appear at 7:30 pm on the date given to them on the ticket. The hours allowed for filing civil cases are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Paulding County Superior Court handles civil and criminal cases, with constitutional authority giving it jurisdiction over felony criminal cases, divorce cases, cases seeking equitable relief and regarding titles to land. The court also handles misdemeanors and traffic cases for which a jury trial is demanded by the accused.
The office of the Clerk of Superior Court is available to file, record and retrieve documents filed in the county. Records include civil and criminal proceedings, real estate documents and more. The office is also in charge of the jury system.
King County District Court's Northeast Division handles court services for the cities of Redmond, Carnation, Duvall, Skykomish and Woodinville. The division processes approximately 38,000 cases each year and also accepts passport applications. In addition, the courthouse offers a young mentor program and a program to assist people with learning disabilities.
The Roswell Municipal Court arraigns and tries cases ranging from simple traffic citations to DUIs, theft and battery. Arraignments are held each Monday morning and afternoon and trials begin at 9 am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The Lilburn Municipal Court, located in the police department wing of the Calvin Fitchett Municipal Center, hears cases the first two Tuesdays of each month at 9am and the second two Tuesdays at 3:30pm. Most of the cases are traffic-related, from speeding to DUI.
The judge is Charles Barrett III, solicitor is Jeffrey Kwiatkowski and court clerks are Terese Stults and Kathleen Rault (assistant).
Many traffic violations are non-mandatory court appearances, unless you want to enter a plea other than guilty. Pay fines at the Court Clerk's Office or online with a credit card.
Failure to appear for cases will result in a bench warrant. Defendants are allowed one continuance if they are unable to appear on the scheduled court date.
The Menomonee Falls government offices are conveniently located in the Menomonee Falls Civic Center. Offices for the village manager, school district, public works, police department, engineering, assessment and parks and forestry are located in one place.
The civic center is also home to Municipal Court, which has jurisdiction in all matters involving violations of Village ordinances. Court is held every Wednesday of the month.
The city attorney's office provides legal advice to city departments. The attorneys frequently speak to members of the public about pending traffic and ordinance litigation. A representative from the city attorney's office assists during Common Council meetings.
The Santa Cruz County Superior Court is in the centrally located Santa Cruz County courthouse. All visitors to the courthouse must pass through metal detectors before entering courtrooms. The Superior Court handles a wide variety of cases, both civil and criminal, in its seven courtrooms.
If an arraignment is the result of an arrest by the Suffolk County Police, the defendant is generally arraigned in First District Court, Central Islip in courtroom, D-11.
However, if the arrest occurs in one of the East-End towns, arraignment will occur at the appropriate Town or Village Court.
An arraignment is the formal reading of the accusatory instrument, together with a setting of bail. Provision is made to give the defendant an opportunity to get a lawyer or, if required, one is appointed. Defendant is also given statutory warnings as to his or her right to counsel.
After arraignment, misdemeanor cases are then adjourned to the Conference Part of the District Court. Cases involving felony complaints are first reviewed the District Attorney's Case Advisory Bureau (CAB). CAB will then, as appropriate, refer the case to a specialized bureau, reduce charges to misdemeanors, or present the case to a Grand Jury. CAB also conducts felony early assessment dispositions (FED's) on certain felony cases in an effort to reach appropriate dispositions of such matters.
Chester County District Court 15-2-05 is responsible for processing motor vehicle violations, summary offenses and local ordinance violations. Landlord-tenant matters and civil claims that do not exceed $8,000 are also processed. Criminal cases are filed at the appropriate District Court for arraignments and preliminary hearings. The judge for District 15-2-05 is Chester F. Darlington. The Court covers the Borough of Malvern and the townships of Willistown, East Goshen and East Whiteland.
