Founded in 1975, the Institute of Culinary Education is one of the largest centers for culinary education in the state of New York. It offers programs in culinary arts and management, pastry making and baking. The institute also runs the programs of recreational cooking and baking classes and wine education. The Institute of Culinary Education s facilities consist of more than 40,000 square feet of space. Its facility features teaching kitchens, traditional classrooms, as well as a reference library. In addition, the institute runs private cooking event programs for birthdays, rehearsal dinners and special reunions. The Institute of Culinary Education also provides career training programs. It is located in New York City.
