Pattikakes' A Place to Grow is located on the campus of Tewksbury Hospital. Privately owned and run, this establishment offers child care to employees of the hospital and also to members of the Tewksbury community. They focus on a curriculum centered around "doing,"and give children opportunities to interact and develop skills, with a strong focus on literacy and reading skills. Pattikakes' programs are for children from 6 weeks to 8 years old.
Acorn has classes for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and prekindergarteners. Programs focus on music, computers, creative outlets, and field trips. The center's mission is to "to create a safe and nurturing environment that fully supports the needs of all the children, families, and teachers that comprise our Acorn Family."
