The Acne Treatment Center is located in the medial building next to St. John's Hospital. The Center is overseen by Dr. Ava Shamban, a featured dermatologist on ABC television's "Extreme Makeover." Her goal is to clear existing blemishes and inflammation, resurface acne scarring and discoloration, and prevent future breakouts. Treatments include full facials, medical treatments involving Laser, and prescription medication. Dr. Shamban's team of doctors is Board Certified, and the front office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Paid parking is available in the building.
Dr. Pamela Rand primarily provides specialized dermatologic treatment, specializing in the diagnosing and treatment of all skin disorders and diseases including sexually transmitted diseases and psoriasis. Additionally, she is board certified in anatomic pathology, which assists her in understanding the various skin diseases and in turn qualifies her to provide optimal services to her patients.
