Taking care of women is a serious profession because their families rely on them to stay healthy. This is why I feel that preventive health care is so important. Taking time to discuss and assure compliance with preventive health care measures, like mammograms, is crucial to the care of the women. Preventive health care allows a woman to function at her best and live the life she wants to live!

I practice general obstetrics and gynecology and truly love my job. Who else gets to be intimately involved during so many life transitions - adolescence and puberty, young adulthood, and menopause; not to mention the miracle of pregnancy and birth. My goal is to educate my patients so they are prepared and at ease during each of these transitions. I enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level, as they return year after year. In doing so, care is individualized and we can form a partnership in health decision-making.
