Dr. Lawrence Miller is a top-ranked pain management specialist in Southern California with office locations in Beverly Hills, Van Nuys, Long Beach, and Santa Ana, providing patients from throughout the Greater Los Angeles Metropolitan Area with the most advanced and effective treatments aimed at helping patients resolve pain and improve their quality of life. Skilled in the broadest array of interventional pain management techniques, Dr. Miller uses state-of-the-art technology and methods to help patients resolve pain and manage underlying conditions that cause symptoms, including steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency neuroablation, IV infusion therapy, and neuromodulation. Dr. Miller also has a special interest in regenerative medicine, employing techniques including platelet-rich plasma injections and Regenerative Cell Therapy to help patients “tap in” to the bodys natural healing processes, promoting more rapid healing by stimulating growth factors and other mechanisms vital to recovery. Dedicated to treating the specific needs of each individual, Dr. Miller works closely with every patient to provide truly customized care, helping patients understand all their options so they can make the most informed decisions and achieve optimal results. After earning his bachelors degree at Cornell University, Dr. Miller completed his M.D. at the State University of New York (SUNY). He completed his residency training in internal medicine and a fellowship in nephrology and inorganic metabolism at Emory University in Atlanta, and an additional residency in anesthesiology at University of California San Diego (UCSD) Medical Center. Today, Dr. Miller is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine, American Board of Anesthesiology, American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Nephrology, and National Board of Medical Examiners. He has been widely published and is the recipient of numerous awards, including Physician of the Year from Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center where he served as medical director, the Patients Choice Award, and the resident teaching award while at Emory University.
