Located at Indian Neck School, the Branford Family Resource Center specializes in promoting integrated, community-based systems of family support and child development services. The center offers early care and education and school-age child care programs, as well as adult education and family programs such as its families in training program that provides information and support for parents and strengthen their ability in their role as their child’s first and best teacher.
Its Adult Education programs are primarily ESL classes and work in collaboration with the families in training component. The center's parent educator works with the ESL teacher to provide developmentally appropriate activities for children while parents are participating in the ESL class.
