Farmington Sports Arena is a comprehensive indoor/outdoor sports facility catering to athletes of all ages. Opened in 2003 by the DiTommaso Family, the complex continues to grow and expand to serve the needs of the sports community. They have both indoor and outdoor fields, a two-lane indoor track, batting cages, showers and locker rooms. There are soccer leagues for all levels of player from under-6 beginners to men over 40 and even coed options. There is an on-site sporting goods store for all your individual and team needs. For the convenience of players and their families there is a restaurant serving a varied menu open on Friday nights and all day on weekends. When the restaurant is not open there is a snack bar and vending machines.
The Farmington Barnes & Nobles, located on S. East Road across from Borders and The Sports Authority, is a complete bookstore, music shop and cafe complete with free Wi-Fi.
Barnes & Nobles carries thousands of book titles in fiction, non-fiction, academic, science fiction, how-to and many other genres. Several newspapers from all over the country are also available along with hundreds of different magazines.
There is plenty of parking on-site and additional parking next door at the Courtyard Marriot.
Farmington Sports Arena is a division of Team Sports. It is located across from Malibu Fitness. It offers four full indoor soccer fields and a batting cage. In the summer outdoor baseball is available. In addition, it offers a shop where sports clothes and equipment may be purchased. It is run by Mark Solomon.
