The people who founded this church came to the Racine area in 1883 from a province of Kharpert, Armenia. They came rom the town of Tomarza and the village of Jujun. The church has been in its current location on Erie Street below 4 Mile Road since 1973.

This church hosts an Armenian picnic every year at Johnson Park and has held a holiday food fair. Over the years they've also held lectures on the origin of the Armenian people. Call for more information.
