Welcome to Kalispell Montessori Elementary School. On behalf of our teachers and staff, we would like to thank you for taking the time and interest to explore Montessori Education at our school. We believe the Montessori philosophy provides a nurturing environment that fosters respect for self, others, the environment, and our global community. Students are allowed to develop into responsible individuals and capable life-long learners who frequently excel academically and socially. We currently serve students 1st through 6th grade in six different multi-age classrooms. Our teachers are all Montessori certified and are committed to providing the best possible learning environment for your child. KMS has been in operation since 1980 and have been at our current location since 1999. We are proud of our reputation in the Flathead Valley as an outstanding educational program. Together with Woodland Montessori Preschool ( Early Learners through Kindergarten ) we are able to provide a comprehensive Montessori education that meets the needs of our families.
