New Covenant Worship Center located on Newton Bridge Road in Athens is a non-denominational church with roots in the Church of God. NCWC offers a wide variety of discipleship opportunities for spiritual growth as well as youth services, childcare and much more.
Associated with the Evangelical Free Church of America, The Compass Church is made up of followers of Jesus who are on their paths to transformation. The congregation began holding services in the Bank of Naperville in the 1950s with just 17 worshippers. It has since grown to about 1,900 adults and 600 children.
The East Hills Moravian Church offers two Sunday worship services, a preschool for children ages 2 to 4, a large gym, study groups, choir programs, and a Sunday school.
The Church of the Redeemer holds weekly services that are held on Sunday mornings at 10:30am. The church offers several ministries for adults and youth. Childcare services are also available here at the Redeemer Child Care Center (RCCC).
An Evangelical Covenant Church, Faith Covenant meets every Sunday at 10am for services. In addition to its services, Faith Covenant also offers youth group and Bible study programs during the week. Members also meet for Sunday picnics and other activities, including softball games, as well as practice groups for diverse activities such as singing.
Bethany Community Church began as a home Bible study in 1986. Today, the church sits on 24 acres donated by Dr. James Smith and family. The church puts forth tremendous outreach to the community and has numerous activities, such as men's retreats, worship, youth groups and other ministries.
One would never guess from the plain exterior of the building how bright, vibrant and welcoming the Grace Fellowship Church really is. This non-denominational house of worship boasts a congregation of more than 2,000 in its state-of-the-art auditorium. Nearly every category of small worship ministries has a place at the Grace Fellowship Church.
This location is the meeting place for the Baltimore Religious Society of friends, also known as Quakers. There are worship services as well as business meetings held here, and the organization regularly plans events designed to foster community betterment.
