Worth Township serves the communities of Oak Lawn, Evergreen Park, Hometown, Chicago Ridge, Worth, Alsip Merrionette Park and sections of Blue Island, Robbins, Crestwood, Palos Heights and Bridgeview. Located in Alsip, the township headquarters houses the office of the town supervisor, clerk, assessor, highway commissioner and collection. In addition, the town board includes four trustees, all of whom are elected officials. The township provides many valuable services for constituents, including senior and youth programs as well as access to care. The township manages a food pantry, health clinic and mini-bus service for seniors and the disabled. Other services available at the township office include applications for senior homestead exemptions, property tax appeals, Cook County vehicle stickers for unincorporated areas, voter registration and applications for US passports. Many of these forms and applications are available online as well. Town board meetings are held on the last Thurday of the month at 7:30pm in the Worth Township Board Room at 11601 S. Pulaski.
