Moulding Source Custom Wood Mouldings Moulding Source, Inc is a family owned and managed company. Grandpa DiNardo brought his old world craftsmanship to America from Sicily, and the Arts and Crafts style homes he built are proudly standing, today. Sam ( my father ) emulated Grandpas skills and hard work ethic. He continued the tradition of pride in quality workmanship by the examples he set for his own children. I have worked in every phase of residential and commercial construction over the last 35 years. My desire to provide premier products for quality construction came naturally, and Moulding Source, Inc was formed. We were optimistic in 1996 when we moved into a new 1800 square foot building. In a few years that building needed to be expanded. Soon, it became clear that Moulding Source, Inc needed a larger home. We moved into our new facility in April 2004. It is nearly 14, 000 square feet, and sits on almost 4 acres. Moulding Source, Inc is located 5 miles from Lake Norman, in Mooresville, North Carolina. We currently stock between 75, 000 and 100, 000 board feet of rough lumber, as well as miles of custom mouldings and plank flooring. A Green Company We are, and always have been, "GREEN". Moulding Source, Inc purchases timber only from mills that exercise sustainable forestry practices. This helps to ensure the timberland owners ability to meet present needs, without compromising the lands capability to supply future generations needs. The mills that we do business with all practice a stewardship ethic that balances the harvesting, reforestation, managing, and growing of trees with the conservation of soil, air and water quality, wildlife and fish habitat, and aesthetics. We are also members of North American Hardwood Lumber Association ( NHLA ), which supports North American Hardwood Industry in maintaining order, structure and ethics in the hardwood marketplace.
