Joe Cordova, an Encinitas resident, has been in the nursery business since the '70s. He opened Cordova Gardens in 1998. Today the nursery offers one of the largest inventories of fountains, pottery and succulent and tropical plants in the county. Most of the plants are grown at a local greenhouse also located in Encinitas, just a few blocks away from the gardens. Cordova Gardens provides an outdoor shopping experience with a few large greenhouse structures that shade plants from the sun. Some of the fountains also flow with water, adding to the calm and quiet atmosphere.  

A visit to Jackalope Pottery feels like a mini-vacation. Giant Buddha statues greet visitors at each entrance gate to the large outdoor show space. On the grounds, numerous outdoor, pottery-based fountains and water features are on display. The gurgle of water they create provides a relaxed shopping atmosphere. Ornamental pots, statues and even wind chimes are available for sale here. A small indoor showroom contains a complementary selection of home décor items.

Since 1960, the family owned and operated Wegman's Nursery has offered high-quality plants and gardening products to the local community. It offers excellent customer service, offering special orders, planting services, delivery and advice. It is open seven days a week for your convenience.

This location at the corner of Fountain and La Brea avenues in Hollywood has eight gas dispensers. In addition to Sam's Service Station which is attached, it features an air machine, water machine and a vaccuum. The convenience store inside carries snacks, sodas, tobacco products and lottery tickets. It also has an ATM, and is open 24 hours a day.
