Founded in 1999, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff is a nonprofit organization. Located in Flagstaff, Ariz., the organization has partnerships with the United Way and the Northern Arizona Trail Runners Association. It serves children between the ages of 6 and 18. In addition, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff conducts the Bowl for Kids Sake event, which is a nationwide fundraising activity. In addition, the organization organizes various picnics and campaigns. It administers a community-based mentoring program that serves more than 300 community members every year. Additionally, it supports a school-based mentoring program that includes recreational, health, community and academic activities. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff provides several volunteering services. It is a part of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, which is one of the leading mentoring organizations for children in the United States.
