The shop sells mostly Russian items along with some American collectibles. Peachtree Place was opened in 1985 by Lucy Callahan, who wanted to bring some Southern charm to Chicago. This store in the Northfield Village Square has 11 rooms of gifts to choose from, including stationery, glassware, picture frames, rugs and lamps. All purchases receive complimentary gift-wrap.

The store sponsers the Peachtree Place College Scholarship Fund, which awards a full college education at Bryant College to a deserving young minority woman.

Country Naturals is a step back in time when the country was in its infancy. Boasting early American gifts and decor of many varieties, this shop appeals to those who delight in vintage American items or antiques. Located on the popular Third Street shopping area, it's a quick right turn as you go south onto Campbell Street.
