The location offers a wide range of educational activities and programs as well as historical artifacts, photographs and information. Admission is free. The location is also home to the offices and archives of the Cherokee County Historical Society.
Located in the courthouse in the middle of downtown Decatur, the DeKalb History Center was founded in 1947 to collect, share and preserve the history for DeKalb County.
