The Montgomery County Housing Authority at Crest Manor provides low- and moderate-income families with safe and affordable housing through homeownership opportunities in the Crest Manor housing community. Crest Manor consists of 40 semi-detached home units. It also operates a community center and conducts homeownership and financial planning workshops weekly.
The Dukes County Regional Housing Authority provides affordable, year-round housing opportunities for residents of Martha's Vineyard and Cuttyhunk. The authority offers a number of rental assistance programs, and maintains many affordable rental properties on the island. It also oversees a home-buyer assistance program. The organization is governed by one representative from each of the six island towns and Cuttyhunk, as well as a governor-appointed representative.
