United Studios of Self Defense offers martial arts training programs for men, women and children.  The Mountain View facility is clean and uncluttered, with elaborate artwork decorating the room. Private and group karate and kung fu lessons are available. USSD also has an online promotion for first-time students.

Concord School of Karate is located on Main Street near Clayton Road and The Alameda. The school teaches a mixed martial art know as Kajukenbo that originated in Hawaii.  Kajukenbo combines western boxing, judo, jujutsu, kenpo karate, shotokan karate and kung fu.  Concord School of Karate offers classes for all levels of learning.

Formerly known as Napa Valley Martial Arts, Main Street Martial Arts has a full schedule of classes for children, teens and adults. Services also include transported after-school karate classes and a day camp on off-school days. 

Concord Locksmith is a family-owned and -operated business that provides comprehensive security services for residential, commercial and automotive customers in Contra Costa and Alameda counties. Services can include sale and installation of locks, master key systems, safes, electronic access systems, panic hardware and door closers. Emergency lockout services also are available. Concord Locksmith also sells a range of self-defense products to individuals at least age 18, including pepper spray, stun guns, stun batons, air tasers and personal alarms. 

Marinobles Martial Arts and Kickboxing Center is located in Roseville. This large facility offers classes for both children and adults in its 10,000 square foot training center. Various martial arts classes are taught, such as Bok Fu, Ju Jitsu, Kung Fu and kickboxing. The Center also has a pro fighter program and boxing academy. Classes are held Monday through Saturday in the late afternoon and early evening.
