Parkway Assembly of God calls itself one of the best-kept secrets in Norwalk. It offers the Christian community ministries for men, women and children, Sunday school, the Happy Time Nursery School and the Parkway Christian Academy, a full-time school for children in kindergarten through 5th grade.

Named after an Algonquian chief, Naramake Elementary School is a member of the Norwalk Public School system. The school is dedicated to providing students from kindergarten to fifth grade a safe and nurturing learning environment.
There are several extracurricular offerings each year, including a Back to School BBQ, Pumpkinfest and Pride Day. Programs in art, physical education and music are available to students. Organizations such as the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Family Resource Center utilize Naramake's facilities after-hours.
Jefferson Elementary, part of the Norwalk Public School system, is a magnet school focusing on science. Located in central Norwalk, the facility is modern and air-conditioned. Jefferson has partnered with several local not-for-profits and for-profit corporations, such as the Maritime Aquarium and General Electric, to provide training and mentorships for students. In addition, there are several special programs the school offers, such as a pre-kindergarten session taught by Jefferson's teachers and an after-school Power Hour where extra reading instruction is offered.
