The Winwood Children's Center - named for the meaning of success implied in "win" and the solid foundation associated with "wood" is a local preschool and daycare company that also has locations in Brambleton, Fairfax, Reston and more. Founded by Barry and Wendy Meil in 1994, the company has a solid reputation for providing researched-based curriculum that encourages intellectual development. The staff is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable amongst the Chantilly-area daycare centers, and assures students a personal level of attention. Pickup and drop-off services are also offered.
St. Veronica School is a Catholic co-ed elementary school serving students in grades kindergarten through 8. Its curriculum focuses on the development of Catholic faith, values and attitudes, and includes classes in religion, math, art, literature, history, computer science and language arts. The school is part of the USDA milk program and provides a daily hot lunch program to students. Mass is held weekly on Fridays, and all students must attend.
St. Timothy Catholic Church has an active youth ministry, as well as several committees and support groups. The church is led by Rev. Gerald Weynes and is also home to an elementary and middle school.
