Built in 1961, Pleasant Hill Library is a branch of the Contra Costa County Library system located on a five-acre campus. The library features 190,000 books, audiobooks, videos, DVDs, CDs and 38 computers, offering a variety of educational and entertainment programs for children and adults.
Project Second Chance (PSC), the Library Adult Literacy Program is a free and confidential program offered out of the public library to adults 16 and older, who are no longer in school, converse in English and cannot read or write. The program focus on literacy instructions.
