Triago was founded in 1992 as Europes first private equity placement agent. Originally focused on helping European General Partners raise capital in North America, Triago grew in the late 1990s as a cross-border placement agent, supporting GPs in Europe and North America with their fundraising in Europe, North America and the Middle-East. After Paris (1992) and New York (2002), Triago opened an office in Dubai at the end of 2007, where it became the first DFSA-registered independent agent. Our teams physical presence on these three continents confers a real advantage when coordinating international fundraising efforts. In 1993 Triago executed its first secondary transaction.
